Our Story
Honors Turf & Pest was born from a partnership over a decade in the making. In 2007, Chris Hood and Clay Burch co-founded AG-GRO LLC, combining their golf course management backgrounds to deliver professional-grade turf care to North Florida. They grew the business until 2014, when it merged with a large local landscape company.
After the merger, Chris and Clay went their separate ways—Chris eventually launching Bay Agri Services, while Clay started his own turf care operation. Both continued honing their craft, serving customers across the region with the same precision and expertise they'd developed on golf courses.
In late 2024, Chris and Clay reunited—merging their companies to form Honors Turf & Pest. With over two decades of combined experience and a shared commitment to excellence, they're bringing golf course-quality care to residential and commercial properties throughout the Gulf Coast and Capital regions.
