Clay Burch

Capital Region Area Manager

Clay brings over two decades of turf management experience to North Florida. He started on his grandfather's 200-acre farm in south Alabama before earning his degree in Environmental Horticulture for Golf Course Management from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College—graduating as class president and on the Dean's list. He went on to supervise several golf courses and manage sod farms, developing expertise across every turf type. In 2007, he and Chris Hood co-founded AG-GRO LLC, growing the business until it merged with a large local landscape company in 2014. Clay then left to start his own turf care company. In late 2024, he and Chris reunited—merging their companies to form Honors Turf & Pest.
